About 2 months ago, the Turbo Brush attachment (which was wonderful at first) stopped working totally. Unfortunate, however the vacuum still labored effectively. Currently, I vacuumed my whole house and smelled that acquainted sizzling smell and thought I used to be burning through a belt. Not so. Upon opening the belowside of the vacuum I discovered that the beater bar had led to a lot friction with the vacuum casing that it burned via 2 layers of plastic casing on the vacuum unit. It cannot be repaired and Bissell customer support won't do the rest regardless of it being under guarantee.

When it eventually died I had the intense idea of buying a bagless vacuum. I notion it could save $$. Bought a Bissell powerforce turbo bagless. Initially I notion it was once the very best vacuum ever especially for the worth. It has great suction on both the carpets and with the devices and it appears very sturdy and well made. BUT that bagless design wore me out. I literally needed to clean all three filters after every weekly vacuuming. And emptying the dirt container was oncen't just right either. I all the time spilled some on the ground and/or myself.
So I determined to stay with the Bissell brand seeing how client files says they're dependable and they are cheaper than different name models. Found this bissell powerglide bagged edition on amazon for a good price. We've had it a couple of month. Here's what I like and don't like:
Pros: Cleans carpets extremely smartly. Even slightly higher than the bagless bissell and a lot higher than the previous panasonic. Very just right airflow with the devices. Seems very sturdy and smartly made. Large bags. Haven't needed to change the bag but (1 month). Bags are low-cost ($1 each and every at walmart) so the bags should no longer price me greater than $12 year. Belts and different phases are cheap. Bought a 2nd extension wand from bissell for 3 or four bucks and now can reach clear to the top of our vaulted lounge ceiling. three0 foot energy twine is good too.
Cons: Not a lot however I do wish you have to shut off the brush roll when vacuuming kitchen floors or using the instruments.
Summary: Very just right bagged vacuum at an excellent value.
